Films On Demand is a streaming video service containing outstanding educational programs. Many programs from the History Channel, Biography Channel, BBC, PBS and other news channels are included in this collection. Films On Demand combines the newest videos with many best-selling programs to provide you with more than 6,000 available titles with approximately 600 new programs digitized, segmented and made available via Films On Demand every year.

  Kanopy is a leading distributor of online educational videos across a wide variety of subject areas. Kanopy also provides access to classic Hollywood and foreign films from the Criterion Collection.
- Steps to Access
  1. Click the link above.
  2. Click the orange 'Visit the YVCC Collection' button on the following page.
  3. Click on the orange 'Log in to YVCC' button.
  4. A new window will appear where you input your YVC credentials.
  5. Once you successfully login, Kanopy will load with all the movies currently available to you.
- Do you need to request a film?
  Faculty, to request access to a film that isn't licensed, contact the library's Media Center at media@yvcc.edu.

  Swank Digital Campus provides access to feature films and documentaries licensed by YVC.
- What's included?
  YVC currently has over 30 licensed films, documentaries, and foreign films from the largest movie studios, including Walt Disney, Warner Bros., Paramount, NBCUniversal, Columbia Pictures, Lions Gate, MGM, Miramax, and many more.
- Do you need to request a film?
  Yes, faculty will need to create an Instructor Account in Swank. Once your account is verified, you will be able to request access from over 25,000 titles.
Safari Users
Swank Videos can stream on most browsers, but Safari users will have to download the Swank Media Player for iOS in order to watch the videos.
