Raymond Library Staff

My name is Kim Hull. I’ve worked in the Yakima Valley College library since the Fall of 2019. When I am not on campus, I enjoy doing anything that takes me outdoors – and keeps me there! Hiking and backpacking steal most of my free time. If I can pitch my tent 40 nights in the season and count a handful or more of bears, it has been a good year. Kayak camping on a solitary lakeshore is a favorite past-time, while backcountry and cross-country skiing in the quiet, snowy woods fill my calendar once Winter rolls around. I am married and have three bright and beautiful adult daughters.

‘Hullo, my name's Alisha, I’m 24 and I'm Media Assistant 1 at Raymond Library! I grew up in Southern Arizona but moved to Yakima in my mid-teens and since then I've come to consider Washington my home. I love going on hikes and paddle boarding in the summer and I absolutely love to read so it's fitting that I now work in a library.’

My name is Kayla Vibbert. I recently graduated at YVC with an associate in arts and humanities. I work inside the Raymond Hall Library as a Media Assistant 2.  I aspire to be a professor, either teaching History or English. My goal while working at the college is to support my students in any way that I can. It’s my hope that by the time I leave the college, I will have left a positive impact on our community.
