Research Tutorials & Videos (Credo Instruct): Home

Faculty, would you like to add Credo Instruct directly to your Canvas?

Faculty, you have a couple of ways of sharing Credo Instruct with your students. You can either direct them to this LibGuide or import specific content into your Canvas course. Click on the video below to see how easy it is to import.

  • Send me an email if you do not have access to the Canvas shell titled, YVC Library-Information Literacy Modules.

How to Import Information Literacy Modules

Welcome to Credo Instruct!

Browse each module OR explore the Pinball Machine page and discover how research is similar to the game. Each pinball section will be matched to the appropriate Credo Instruct lessons.

Each module represents an information literacy skill that will help improve your research skills.

  • A module typically consists of tutorials, videos, activities to check your understanding, and quizzes.
  • The module will be in the center column and any additional resources to help you understand and practice each topic will be on the outside columns on the page.
  • I strongly recommend doing the quizzes. It's a great way to test your knowledge and the score does not impact your course grade.
  • You can complete the modules in order or select, view, and complete the tutorials/videos you specifically need.
  • If you are interested in completing all the modules, I recommend completing the Pre-Test before you begin and then take the Post-Test after reviewing the modules to see the improvement in your literacy and research skills.

If you find any broken links or non-accessible material please send me an email and I'll get that fixed.
