Faculty & Staff Services: Raymond Library

Important Announcements

Checking out Laptops for Fall Quarter

The first step to checking out laptops is changing your password. QR codes will be provided in the library for students to complete these steps. New students will need to authorize their school emails and then create a password. Current students only need to scan the code, then they will be prompted to create a new password.
Once your new password had been created, students will then fill out a laptop agreement form and bring it to the front desk with some kind of picture ID.
Due to potential domain and server issues, it could take up to 30 minutes to complete laptop sign in and checkouts.

Extended Library Hours

The library will be open until 9pm December 3rd, 4th, and 5th for finals week. We will also have some snacks out until we run out.

Library instruction develops students' critical inquiry into conducting research.  Raymond Library makes this instruction available in many formats including in-person, via zoom, prerecorded videos, assignments and research guides.

Our sessions are designed to provide students with the research skills they need to successfully find, retrieve, analyze and use information.  Course sessions are typically designed around your specific assignment and sessions last approximately 50 minutes.  We can also provide scaffolded instruction by visiting your class more than once over a quarter.

Use our request form to schedule a session today!

The library provides instructional supplies to qualified faculty.  Please request your materials here!

Use our Course Reserve Request form to place a copy of your course textbook on reserve for student use.  This is a great way to ensure equitable access to course materials without incurring a cost to your students.

Request materials not in our collection from libraries around the world.  This service allows you to receive research not available in Raymond Library's collections.

AskWA is a live, interactive chat service that connects you to a librarian.  Librarians are available 24/7.  Besides telling your students about this tremendous service, use it for your own research needs!

Let the library curate a selection of resources specific to your course or class assignment.  Creating a research guide will help your students be more successful through using recommended resources on a specific subject.  Request one from us today!

Schedule a one-on-one meeting with a librarian for your research, publishing or instructional needs.
