Get Your Free New York Times Subscription!

YVC Library & Media Services provides YVC students, faculty, and staff with online access to the New York Times.  This service gives you full access to the extensive news, multimedia, and archives of The New York Times without needing your own subscription.* The Group Pass allows each YVC student, faculty, and staff member to claim an online subscription to:

  • NYTimes.com
  • New York Times mobile apps
  • New York Times inEducation
Already have a digital subscription?

If you plan to use the same email address, you must “disconnect” the email address from the paid service by canceling that subscription before the email address is available to connect to the complimentary access. The “disconnect” can sometimes take 1-2 days but has been done in as few as 1-2 hours. To cancel an existing PAID subscription, contact NYT Customer Care at customercare@nytimes.com or 800.591.9233.

*Limits

NYTimes.com passes do not include Times Insider content or digital versions of The New York Times Crossword. NYT mobile apps are not supported on all devices. Access to archived articles from 1923 to 1980 is limited and does not replace database services to which YVC already subscribes.
